Job summary

Composites ONE in Bristol, RI is seeking a General Warehouse Team Member to manage receipt, storage, shipment and production processes for materials in alignment with policy and regulatory standards.

The role requires 2+ years in warehouse operations, forklift certification, knowledge of FIFO and OSHA requirements, and proficiency with MS Office. Prior experience with SAP is a plus as is an Associate's degree or higher.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a warehouse environment with order picking, shipping, receiving and inventory counts.
• Forklift certification and familiarity with FIFO, OSHA guidelines, safety awareness, and hazardous material shipping.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Outlook.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow internal procedures.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and timely receipt and shipping of all materials following FIFO and back order procedures.
• Receive, unload and process inbound material and shipments; stock material and notify management of damaged shipments.
• Perform a variety of duties including pulling/assembling orders, checking outbound orders for accuracy, conducting cycle counts, restocking and labeling vendor products.
• Understand and comply with DOT, EPA, OSHA and HS&E requirements.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment and accurately maintain shipping/receiving information.
• Communicate potential stockouts or damaged material to staff; coordinate with drivers for loading/delivery.
