Job summary

CookUnity, based in Los Angeles, is seeking a warehouse associate to receive shipments, check for damages, and prepare orders for delivery to chefs. You will manage invoices, track inventory, and support FIFO and safety procedures in a fast-paced food facility.

Shifts include Wednesday-Sunday with various evening hours; benefits include medical, dental, vision, a 401K, and opportunities for advancement. Final pay rates are determined by experience and market data.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Eligible to work in the U.S.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Familiar with FIFO and food safety regulations.
• Reliable: punctual and regular attendance.
• Ability to operate a pallet jack is helpful but not required.
• Experience working in a food facility is helpful but not required.
• Able to stand or walk for 8 hour shifts and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Occasionally may work in a cold refrigerated area kept at 35 degrees.

Responsibilities

• Receive shipments, check for damages and sort stock for distribution in the market/warehouse
• Keep record of invoices sent and received
• Fill orders by taking items from the warehouse and prepare them for delivery to chefs
• Keep track record of chefs ingredient requirements and returns
• Monitor shelves and fill them in when needed
• Keep up with the movement of merchandise in the store and warehouse
• Weekly counting of assigned inventory

Schedules

Wednesday-Sunday, 6pm-2:30am or Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Monday varied times from 8am-7pm

Compensation

All final pay rates will be determined by candidates experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.

Pay Range for this position: $20-$20 USD
