Job summary

C&B Electric is seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our residential electrical team in Grand Prairie, Texas. You’ll support field crews by pulling parts, safely moving reels and totes, and keeping a clean, organized workspace to ensure on-time project progress.

The role requires 1–2 years in a warehouse, a forklift certification (in-house if needed), English reading/speaking, ability to lift 50 lbs, and familiarity with handheld scanners or WMS.

Qualifications

• Must have 1–2 years in a warehouse; electrical or construction trade knowledge is a major plus.
• Forklift certification (provided in-house if expired or not yet held).
• Read and speak English; Spanish is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Order Fulfillment: Pulling baskets or kits for daily residential jobs based on pick sheets.
• Material Handling: Safe operation of forklifts and pallet jacks to move heavy wire reels, conduit bundles, and bulk palletized gear.
• Inventory Management: Perform up-stocking by moving material from receiving areas to storage or active picking bins.
• Returns Processing: Inspect and process Return to Stock materials from completed jobs; determine re-sellable, damaged, or scrapped items.
• Loading and unloading delivery trucks; maintain a clean, safe 5S workspace.
• Assist with periodic cycle counts and inventory audits.

Job description

Compensation: Hourly

Schedule: Monday – Friday, (Includes 1-hour lunch)

Shift: 8 - 5

Overtime: Saturday and Sunday as needed (must be pre-approved by Operations Manager)

This isn’t just about moving boxes; you’ll be the backbone of our field operations, ensuring our electricians have exactly what they need—from Romex and recessed lighting to circuit breakers and panels, to keep residential projects on schedule.

Physical Ability

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk for the duration of a shift.

Work Environment

• Location: Warehouse-based.


• Schedule: Full-time, typically starting early morning to support field departures.


• Standard Requirements: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
