Job summary

MOM's Organic Market is hiring a Warehouse Team Member in Elkridge, MD. This full-time role runs from 6am to 2pm, Monday through Friday, with some Saturdays as needed. Your duties include packing orders, counting inventory, scanning labels, and ensuring timely shipment to stores.

Responsibilities

The Warehouse Team Member is responsible for varied daily tasks such as product putaway, accepting incoming orders, processing and packing orders, counting inventory and ensuring orders are shipped in a timely manner. This is a full-time position (5 days/week) with shifts generally happening from 6am-2pm Monday - Friday, with some Saturday shifts as needed. Our Warehouse is located in Elkridge, MD. In this role you will:

1. Ensuring all products are safely and securely packed and labeled for shipping to stores.
2. Keeping an inventory of all products entering or exiting the warehouse.
3. Scanning labels to ensure products are shipped to the right destination.
4. Identify any missing, lost or damaged materials and immediately notify the supervisor.
5. Cleaning of the warehouse (ex. sweeping floors, straightening shelves, cleaning the bathrooms).
6. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the day and stand up for prolonged hours
• Ability to prioritize tasks that change frequently and manage unexpected demands
• Excellent attention to detail, especially with communication (written and verbal) and meeting deadlines
• Dependable, follows instructions and takes initiative to solve problems
• Experience in a fast-paced work environment
• Interest in company culture and desire to grow in the field

The starting rate/hiring range for this position is $16.50/hr.We carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including job-related skills, experience, qualifications and competencies.
