Job summary

Menards Distribution Center is hiring Warehouse Team Members in Eau Claire, WI. Positions are available on 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts, with both full-time and part-time options.

Pay includes additional incentives based on experience and education, plus a $3/hr weekend and mid-shift premium. Responsibilities include operating equipment, loading/unloading, scanning inventory, and maintaining a safe, organized work area.

Qualifications

• Warehouse experience preferred but not required.
• Must be eighteen years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Follow Menards safety policies and procedures.
• Safely operate forklift or other machinery.
• Work cooperatively and productively with other Team Members under little supervision.
• Load trucks according to cubic weight, size and characteristics.
• Provide outstanding service with attention to detail and completing tasks in a timely manner.
• Maintain condition of work area (i.e., free of trash, product in correct location, etc.).
• Perform safety check of powered industrial vehicle prior to operation.
• Locate product in warehouse using manifest or scanning system.
• Use hand-held scanning equipment to add or subtract product from inventory.
• Record quantity of product actually loaded onto manifest system.
• Ensure accuracy of load by verifying quantity with computer inquiry screens.
• Transport product from production/receiving areas using powered industrial vehicle.
• Additional duties assigned by Distribution Center Management.

Menards Distribution Center is hiring immediately for Warehouse Team Members who are responsible for loading, unloading, sorting, staging and transporting products into and out of the Distribution Center.

• Additional $ given based on previous experience and education!
• +$3/hr for 2nd and 3rd shift
• +$3/hr on weekends

Offer FULL TIME and PART TIME for:

• 1st shift (approx. 6-7 am until 2-3 pm)
• 2nd shift (approx. 3-4 pm until 11 pm-12 am)
• 3rd shift (approx. 10-11 pm until 6-7 am)

Physical Demands

• Requires intermittent periods of continuous physical exertion, such as walking, standing, stooping, bending, climbing, and lifting.
• Environment can include temperature fluctuations (hot/cold), noise, dust, and uneven walking surfaces.
• Lift up to 50 lbs. frequently; 70 lbs. occasionally.
