Job summary

Alabama Splash Adventure is seeking a friendly seasonal Warehouse Team Member to safely receive and deliver park merchandise and culinary items, and to maintain stocked food, beverage, and ice locations across the park.

You will unload deliveries, store items in the warehouse and freezers, rotate soda bibs and CO2 tanks, keep soda machines clean, and support Park Services cleaning as needed. Must be 18+, fluent English, and able to work weekends and evenings.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to read and speak English fluently.
• Jefferson County Food Handlers Card.
• Proficient with basic mathematics.
• Must be able to work well with others in a team environment.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
• Forklift certification may be requested (not required).

Responsibilities

• Unload deliveries and place in warehouse and freezers.
• Accept PO in center edge program.
• Deliver products to various park locations.
• Put deliveries in proper location.
• Maintain soda machines with ice, bibs, and cups.
• Deliver and rotate soda bibs in each location.
• Check large CO2 gas tanks.
• Check small portable CO2 tanks where applicable, deliver and connect full tanks, remove empty tanks, and return to warehouse.
• Fill cup holders.
• Clean and organize warehouse, stock rooms and soda towers as needed.
• Clean fountain drink area in Guest locations.
• Assist with Park Services cleaning when necessary.
• Perform other duties as required.

Essential Functions

• Ability to lift, carry, or otherwise move and position stock weighing up fifty pounds.
• Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time, walk, crouch, bend, stoop, twist, kneel, and lift.
• Ability to climb a ladder and footstool.
• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in hot, cold, humid, dry, sunny, rainy, and windy weather.
