S&S Activewear LLC in Fresno, CA is seeking a Warehouse Team Lead - Shipping (SUN-THURS) to guide the team in receiving, stocking, picking, and shipping operations. You will ensure safety, accuracy, and efficiency while training staff and maintaining high standards in a fast-paced distribution center.

Responsibilities

• Lead and guide team members within assigned tasks.
• Monitor orders, receiving, stocking, staging, and shipping for safety, accuracy, and productivity.
• Operate required machinery within departments (e.g., cherry pickers, reach trucks, forklifts).
• Meet KPI targets for safety, quality, production, and efficiency.
• Record discrepancies, damaged items, or missing packages.
• Maintain audits of processed procedures.
• Train in customer service duties as needed.
• Train new hires for productivity and quality.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of the distribution center.
• Follow SOPs and safety rules.
• Contribute to a safe working environment.
• Perform other duties and cross-train as needed.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Team Lead at S&S Activewear provides guidance and direct feedback to all team members within assigned tasks. They ensure that proper processes are followed and that errors are addressed quickly. They assist in training of new and present employees and the upkeep of the Distribution Center.

COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE

$18.50 hourly, Full-Time, Non-Exempt

Sunday - Thursday (10am - 6:45pm)

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Work and collaborate with leadership team for process improvements and provide support throughout the DC.
• Efficiently monitor customer orders, receiving, stocking, staging, and shipping of products ensuring they meet company standards for safety, security, accuracy, and productivity.
• Operate required machinery with specified departments, which may include cherry pickers, reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and stock chasers.
• Follow & commit to meet Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) for safety, quality, production, & efficiency.
• Report and record any discrepancy, damaged items, shortages, or unidentified packages.
• Maintain required processed/procedure audits.
• Train in customer service duties as required.
• Monitor and train new hires to ensure optimal productivity and quality.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of Distribution Center.
• Follows all SOPs, safety rules, and regulations.
• Acts professionally and remains focused – contributing to a culture and environment focused on a safe working environment.
• Performs other duties as assigned and be willing to cross train.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

In performing this job, the employee must stand and walk for an 8+ hour shift. Additionally, the position requires frequent grasping, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and handling of items with hands and arms, up to 50 lbs. Moderate hand-eye coordination, near vision, far vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, adjusting focus and hearing.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT

The job will be performed entirely in the warehouse where conditions can range from warm to cool. The job will be performed around warehouse machines and equipment with a moderate level of noise. Employee must be able to work in a high-volume, high-demand environment while meeting strenuous customer deadlines. Employee must be able to change priorities or job duties as needed and interact with employees at all levels.
