Ryder is seeking a Warehouse Team Lead in Hebron, KY to guide daily warehouse operations in a clean, safe facility. You will oversee loading, picking, packing, shipping, and forklift activities while coordinating resources to meet targets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year or more powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• One year or more warehouse experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills preferred.

Responsabilités

• Lead and drive continuous improvement for warehouse efficiency.
• Perform warehouse tasks: loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Allocate and organize daily work to ensure optimal shift operations.
• Inspire team members to meet KPIs using appropriate leadership styles.
• Provide orientation and tools to employees to perform their duties.
• Promote health and safety practices within the warehouse.
• Handle day-to-day paperwork like picking sheets and bills of lading.
• Submit daily reports and propose actions to improve performance.

Position Description

Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly

• Hourly Pay $24.23 per hour

• Overtime Pay: $36.35 per hour

• Schedule: Sunday-Thursday 3:00 am - 12:00 pm, must be willing to work overtime

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One (1) year or more powered industrial truck experience preferred
• One (1) year or more previous experience as Team Lead preferred
• One (1) year or more Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) preferred
• One (1) year or more previous warehouse experience preferred
• Knowledge and/or experience with an RF scanner advanced required
• Valid forklift operator's license certified
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Effective leadership skills
• Possesses flexibility to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
• Performs work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Lead and ensure continuous improvement efforts for optimal efficiency of the operations.
• Perform warehouse function, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and, cycle counting.
• Allocate resources and organize and distribute daily work duties to members to ensure optimal shift/team operational logistics.
• Inspire and guide team members towards improved Key Performance Indicator (KPI’s) using the appropriate leadership styles and methods.
• Assist in proving appropriate orientation for employees and give them the necessary information, technology and tools to perform their jobs.
• Assist with promoting health and safety working methods within the warehouse.
• Deal with day to day paperwork in a warehouse environment (i.e. picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.).
• Complete and submit daily reports and propose action plans to enhance operations effectiveness and service levels.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
