Caterpillar Fort Worth Distribution Center is seeking a Warehouse Team Lead to assist the Section Manager in guiding warehouse operations, coordinating workflow and ensuring safety and quality targets are met. You will lead a multi-person team, manage priorities, and report on performance metrics.

Highlighting strong leadership, analytics, and Excel skills, the role includes interaction with carriers, continuous improvement initiatives, and occasional material handling with standard warehouse

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in manufacturing or logistics preferred.
• Strong mathematical and analytical abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with logistics and carriers to set up shipments.
• Lead team meetings and manage priorities for daily operations.
• Monitor quality, safety, velocity and cost metrics; drive improvements.
• Oversee zone management and inventory reconciliation; investigate root causes.
• Mentor team members and enforce safety policies; perform occasional material handling.
