Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is hiring a Warehouse Team Lead in Hebron, Kentucky. Team leads oversee warehouse operations with a focus on safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

The role includes leading a shift, coordinating tasks, and ensuring accurate order fulfillment in a fast-paced environment. Weekly pay of $24.23 per hour and overtime rates apply. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k) with company match, plus PTO accrual from month one.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ year powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• 1+ year experience as Team Lead preferred.
• 1+ year Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) preferred.
• 1+ year warehouse experience preferred.
• RF scanner knowledge/experience required.
• Valid forklift operator's license required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Effective leadership skills.
• Flexible to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and ensure continuous improvement for optimal efficiency of operations.
• Perform warehouse functions (loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, cycle counting).
• Allocate resources and organize daily work duties for optimal shift operations.
• Inspire team members to improve KPI performance using effective leadership styles.
• Orient and provide employees with necessary information and tools to perform their jobs.
• Promote health and safety practices within the warehouse.
• Handle day-to-day warehouse paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Submit daily reports and propose action plans to enhance operations and service levels.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
