Job summary

Saddle Creek Logistics Services seeks a Lead Warehouse Associate to oversee handling of customer products, including loading and unloading, and to assign work to warehouse staff. You will ensure adherence to safety policies and support associates in daily operations.

Responsibilities include supervising tasks, completing timely reports, and coordinating with maintenance for equipment issues while maintaining high standards of quality and customer service.

Qualifications

• Must be eighteen years or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in a warehouse environment.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.
• Forklift certificate and/or license.

Responsibilities

• Assign tasks to warehouse personnel and supervise loading/unloading, staging, and labeling.
• Complete reports and records in a timely manner.
• Troubleshoot machine and equipment malfunctions and report to maintenance.
• Advise associates on care of product and proper handling equipment.
• Ensure high-quality customer service by assisting with warehouse functions as needed.
• Enforce safety, quality, and productivity procedures; address violations.
• Work cooperatively with other warehouse associates and follow site policies.

This leadership role will be responsible for assigning work and work functions to all warehouse associates as necessary to meet the needs of the customer.
