Life’s Abundance, a 100% employee-owned company, is seeking a Team Lead for its warehouse operations in McHenry, IL. You will oversee daily floor activities, lead receiving and inventory control, and ensure accurate picking, packing, and shipping while upholding safety and SOP standards.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, communication, and the ability to drive a cohesive team in a growing, employee-owned business with ESOP benefits. Training on equipment and safety procedures is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–2+ years of warehouse experience preferred (lead experience a plus, not required).
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and stay on your feet for most of the shift.
• Reliable attendance — your team counts on you being there.
• Willingness to learn lockout/tagout, PIT, and all safety procedures (training provided).

Responsibilities

• Lead the floor and run day-to-day operations when the Assistant Manager is away.
• Own receiving and inventory, verify, inspect, scan, and label incoming product.
• Fulfill orders: pick, pack, stage, and prepare boxes; organize daily workflow.
• Plan and lead weekly safety meetings; follow SOPs and lockout/tagout procedures; report hazards.
• Manage the location shipper email inbox, process returns, and rotate stock (FIFO).

What You'll Do

You’ll be the caretaker of our inventory from the moment it arrives until it ships out the door — and a hands‑on leader who keeps the warehouse running smoothly day to day.

• Lead the floor. When the Assistant Manager is away from the line, you run day‑to‑day operations and keep orders moving.
• Own receiving and inventory. Lead receiving procedures and cycle counts; verify, inspect, scan, and label incoming product so our inventory stays accurate.
• Fulfill orders with pride. Pick, pack, and stage orders accurately; build and prep boxes; organize the daily workflow from pick files.
• Keep people safe. Help plan and lead weekly safety meetings, follow and model all SOPs and lockout/tagout procedures, and speak up immediately about hazards.
• Handle the details. Help manage the location shipper email inbox, process returns, and keep product rotated (FIFO) and quality‑checked.

We'll train you on our equipment — electric pallet jacks, forklifts (PIT certification provided), case formers, vacuum lifters, and our fulfillment systems.
