Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is hiring a Warehouse Material Handler in Laredo, Texas. Position offers weekly pay and on-the-job paid training. Employees may handle auto parts, retail products, and more using RF scanners and standard warehouse equipment.

The role requires a high school diploma (or equivalent preferred) and forklift certification; prior warehouse experience is preferred. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401(k), PTO, company match, and employee discounts. Safety gear is provided.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions: loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Adhere to performance measurement guidelines of the contract.
• Ensure accurate picking/packing, auditing, tote induction, staging, and loading/unloading of trucks.
• Handle day-to-day paperwork in warehouse operations (e.g., picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Provide technical and maintenance support for the automated packing system during production hours.

• Hourly Pay$15.00 per hour

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Responsible for the accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products and loading and unloading of trucks
• Responsible of dealing with day to day paperwork in a warehouse environment (i.e. picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.)
• Provide technical and maintenance support for different aspects related to the automated packing system during the core shift hour of production
