Job summary

DO & CO in New York is seeking a dynamic Warehouse & Supply Chain Supervisor to join our growing team. You will oversee receiving, stock control, order fulfillment, and coordination with airline sourcing to ensure accurate deliveries.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in logistics/warehouse, supervisory experience, and bilingual Spanish is preferred. Proficiency with MS Word/Excel/Outlook, forklift certification, and a valid driver’s license are expected.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years in logistics/warehouse with 2 years supervisory experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in logistics or supply chain preferred.
  • Forklift certified and able to operate pallet jacks.
  • Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

  • Manage receiving and processing of incoming stock and materials.
  • Oversee picking and filling orders, packing and organizing deliveries.
  • Manage airline local purchasing deliveries and match invoices.
  • Handle Airlines U.S. Customs documentation and related paperwork.
  • Maintain inventories and monitor stock levels; address shortages and excess.
  • Lead, train, and coach warehouse staff; enforce safety/compliance.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work area.
  • Identify issues and propose practical solutions.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

We have an incredible opportunity for a dynamic Warehouse & Supply Chain Supervisor to join our growing New York Team!

Responsibilities
  • Manage receiving and processing of incoming stock and materials.
  • Oversee picking and filling orders from stock, packing and organizing orders and ensures accuracy in all incoming and outgoing deliveries.
  • Manage and receive all airlines local purchasing deliveries and ensure items delivered are matching as per invoice and delivery order.
  • Collect Airlines incoming Air Cargos shipments and Sea Containers and ensure paperwork for the Equipment and Beverage packing is according to company guidelines.
  • Handles all Airlines U.S. Customs documentation (open/closing / filing VSIE’s, CBP7512, Invoices, Delivery Order, Air-waybill/Bill of Lading).
  • Manage monthly inventories according to schedule and monitor stock levels to detect materials reaching low stock and request cabin load of material and inform the concerned parties regarding changes, material shortages, excess and any deviations, etc.
  • Keep and maintain a data base regarding all kind of procedures from export of material returns, cargo pick-ups or U.S. Custom’s information.
  • Manage, motivate, and train warehouse team and enforce compliance and issue disciplinary as needed and perform other tasks assigned by the management based on operational needs.
  • In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the supervisor based upon the requirements of DO & CO.
  • Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work area.
  • Follow all company guidelines regarding storage and warehousing.
  • Ensure that the drivers take the correct flight equipment/ beverage in a timely manner.
  • Identify problematic areas and suggest solutions.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of work experience in a logistics/warehouse, with 2 years supervisory/managerial position.
  • Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain or any relevant preferred.
  • Forklift Certified is preferred: Able to drive a sit-down or stand-up forklift and operate an electric pallet jack.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • Ability to complete assigned tasks within the given time to meet strict deadlines.
  • Hands-on approach and ability to react with a sense of urgency.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, heavy workload and standing or a prolonged period as necessary with ability to move, lift, carry, pull, or push as needed.
  • Proactive and self-organized.
  • Ability to manage through a substantial workload.
  • Excellent planning and coordination skills.
  • Team leader qualities with strong communication skills.
  • Dedication and attention to detail with regards to customer service.
  • Solution seeker and effective decision maker.
  • Bilingual Spanish preferred.
  • Proficient computer skills (Particularly Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Ability to work long hours on foot and in environments with varying temperatures.
  • Flexibility to work different shifts (including nights, weekends, and holidays) based on business needs.

  • Salary range: $66,300 - $80,000 annually.
