Job summary

Encompass Supply Chain Solutions, Inc. is seeking an energetic Fulfillment Center Supervisor - Outbound for our 100k square foot facility in Lewisville, TX.

You will lead outbound operations, supervise pick/pack/shipping, and ensure accurate, on-time orders while maintaining safety standards. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in warehouse ops (1+ in a lead role), strong leadership and communication skills, and familiarity with WMS and RF scanning.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; associate degree is a plus.
• 2+ years in warehouse operations, with at least 1 year in a lead or supervisory role.
• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanning equipment.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in English with good communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pick, pack, and shipping teams to ensure timely, accurate order fulfillment.
• Monitor performance, coach, and train to maintain productivity and quality.
• Ensure adherence to safety policies, procedures and quality standards.
• Coordinate with receiving, inventory and other departments to optimize workflow.
• Maintain an organized and clean picking area and manage timekeeping for shifts.
• Monitor productivity and order accuracy; implement corrective actions as needed.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency.

The Job at a Glance

The Warehouse Outbound Supervisor at our 100k square foot, state-of-the-art fulfillment center, is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the outbound department within the warehouse. This role ensures that customer orders are accurately picked, packed, and prepared for shipment in a timely and efficient manner. The Outbound Supervisor leads a team of warehouse associates, enforces safety standards, and drives productivity to meet performance goals.

A Typical Day

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of the pick, pack, and shipping teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
• Monitor employee performance, provide coaching, and conduct training to maintain high productivity and quality standards.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, safety procedures, and quality control standards.
• Collaborate with warehouse leadership and other departments (receiving, inventory, etc.) to optimize workflow and resolve operational issues.
• Maintain an organized and clean work environment in the picking area.
• Monitor and report on productivity, error rates, and order accuracy; implement corrective actions as needed.
• Assist in developing and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency.
• Schedule labor and manage timekeeping for team members to ensure adequate staffing during shifts.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies or order issues related to picking.
• Promote a positive, team-oriented culture and support employee engagement.

To Land This Opportunity

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or relevant coursework in supply chain or logistics is a plus.
• 2+ years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 1 year in a lead or supervisory role.
• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanning equipment.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and leadership abilities. You're proficient in English (verbal and written).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and best practices in warehouse operations.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends or holidays, as needed.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in varying warehouse temperatures and conditions.
• Manual dexterity to operate warehouse equipment and tools.
• Experience with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies is helpful.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• You can work Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM along with occasional overtime and weekends as needed.
