Job summary

UPS is seeking a Supervisor to train and oversee Package Handlers and Clerks in Manchester, ensuring safety, productivity, and timely completion of tasks. You will lead daily operations, coach staff, and maintain clear communication with management and customers.

You will be responsible for attendance accountability, submission of timecards, and coordinating evaluations. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving, and a commitment to UPS's ethics and code of conduct while maintaining

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent - Preferred.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities.
• Experience working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Ability to lift 70 lbs./32 kgs.
• Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week.
• Strong problem solving skills, with ability to multitask.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains good working relationships with employees, management and customers.
• Facilitates training with new and current employees.
• Conducts and participates in group meetings.
• Coordinates evaluations with management.
• Determines best solutions for package concerns.
• Supervises daily activities of package handlers and clerks to ensure all assigned duties are accomplished safely and timely.
• Understands and consistently demonstrates UPS's high ethical standards and code of conduct.
