Job summary

North Coast, part of the Sonepar group, seeks a warehouse associate to support daily operations in a fast-paced distribution environment. You will manage metrics, assign tasks, and help optimize workflow to ensure accurate order fulfillment and timely shipping.

The role requires strong communication, a proactive attitude, and prior warehouse experience. On-site work with potential schedule flexibility to meet business needs.

• Previous warehouse experience mandatory.
• Good communication and teamwork skills are essential.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage warehouse metrics and dashboards.
• Assign orders to order fillers.
• Facilitate daily flow of workers to maximize efficiency.
• Check orders, order filling, shipping, receiving, cycle counting.
• Back up Warehouse Leads and other key areas.
• Train, lead and mentor new and existing warehouse associates.
• Facilitate performance reviews, evaluations and daily huddles.
• Other duties as assigned.

What you will do

• Customer Service focused and fluent in NCE warehouse & system processes
• Responsible to manage and generate warehouse metrics and dashboards
• Assign orders to order fillers
• Help facilitate daily flow of workers to achieve maximum efficiency
• Checking orders, order filling, shipping, receiving, cycle counting
• Back up to Warehouse Leads and other key areas
• Training, Leading, Mentoring new and existing warehouse associates
• Facilitate associate performance reviews, evaluations and daily huddles
• Other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

• Repetitive lifting and pulling of heavy objects (50+ lbs.)
• Warehouse environment
• Usual 40-hour work-week Monday through Friday, however, based on business needs, evening and weekend hours may occasionally be required
• Requires punctual regular and reliable on-site attendance
