Job summary

Medline is seeking a Supervisor for the Kansas City, MO warehouse to oversee daily administration and operations, including processing, packaging and storage of supplies. You will direct and supervise staff, coach on productivity, quality, safety and Medline Core Values, and ensure procedures and inventory accuracy.

The role involves coordinating with customer service to resolve warehouse issues, maintaining a safe work environment, and overseeing overtime within budget.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of supervisory experience coaching, mentoring and training staff.
• At least 3 years warehouse experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree a plus.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the daily administration and operation of the warehouse, including processing, packaging and storage of supplies, materials and equipment.
• Oversee materials are received, stored, shipped and reported in accordance with established procedures.
• Direct and supervise warehouse staff; lead day-to-day activities; assign, monitor and review progress and accuracy of work.
• Audit goods received into warehouse; ensure inventory accuracy.
• Coach and mentor team members in productivity, quality, safety and Medline Core Values.
• Assist the warehouse manager in maintaining a safe work environment; work with customer service to resolve warehouse related issues.
