Job summary

Crane Worldwide Logistics is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor in the United States (Ohio, Lockbourne) to plan warehouse layouts, supervise staff, and enforce safety standards. You will advise on care and handling of stock, determine procedures, and ensure efficient workflow. Prior leadership and forklift certification are preferred.

The role emphasizes coordination of daily operations, staff development, and adherence to policies while maintaining a safe, productive environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Three to four years relevant, job-related experience, education or combination thereof.
• Two to three years supervisory experience preferred.

• Plans layout of warehouse and storage areas considering turnover and item characteristics.
• Advises staff on care, preservation, handling, and shipping of stock.
• Determines work procedures, prepares schedules, and expedites workflow.
• Assigns duties and checks work for accuracy and policy conformance.
• Maintains harmony among workers and enforces safety regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.

Essential Job Functions

• Plans layout of warehouse and other storage areas, considering turnover, size, weight, and related factors of items stored
• Advises employees on care and preservation of items received, stored, and shipped; methods and use of equipment in handling, storing, maintaining, and shipping stock; and related problems
• Determines work procedures, prepares work schedules, and expedites workflow
• Assigns duties and examines work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures.
• Maintains harmony among workers and resolves issues
• Advises and Enforce safety regulations
• Other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

• Standing/Walking 75% of the time.
• Stand or sit for long periods of time.
• Reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch and frequently required to climb or balance.
• Regularly lift and/or move 50 pounds with hand truck/pallet jack and occasionally lift and/or move 50 pounds by hand.

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• Three to four years relevant, job-related experience, education or combination thereof.
• Two to three years supervisory experience preferred.

CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES

• Professional certification may be required in some areas
• Forklift Certified
