Job summary

Crane Worldwide Logistics LLC in Ellenwood, GA is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to plan layout, supervise inventory care, and oversee daily warehouse operations. You will set work procedures, schedules, and prioritize workflow to meet shipping deadlines.

This role requires strong leadership, quality management, and safety enforcement, with 3–4 years of related experience and 2–3 years of supervisory work. A high school diploma or GED is required, and certifications may be needed in some areas.

Responsibilities

• Plan layout of warehouse and storage areas considering turnover, size, weight and item characteristics.
• Advise employees on care, preservation, and handling of items; ensure safe and efficient stock movement.
• Determine work procedures, prepare schedules, and expedite workflow to meet targets.
• Assign duties and inspect work for accuracy, neatness, and policy conformance.
• Maintain harmony among workers and enforce safety regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Plans layout of warehouse and other storage areas, considering turnover, size, weight, and related factors of items stored
• Advises employees on care and preservation of items received, stored, and shipped; methods and use of equipment in handling, storing, maintaining, and shipping stock; and related problems
• Determines work procedures, prepares work schedules, and expedites workflow
• Assigns duties and examines work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures.
• Maintains harmony among workers and resolves issues
• Advises and Enforce safety regulations
• Other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

• Standing/Walking 75% of the time.
• Stand or sit for long periods of time.
• Reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch and frequently required to climb or balance.
• Regularly lift and/or move 50 pounds with hand truck/pallet jack and occasionally lift and/or move 50 pounds by hand.

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• Three to four years relevant, job-related experience, education or combination thereof.
• Two to three years supervisory experience preferred.

CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES

• Professional certification may be required in some areas
