Job summary

Aramark’s SMU Catering division seeks a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring accurate receiving, storing and distribution of materials and finished goods.

You will manage inventory levels, coordinate shipments, enforce safety programs, and lead a team to deliver timely service while controlling costs. This role is based in Dallas, TX and requires 3–5 years of shipping/receiving supervision experience.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in a shipping/receiving supervisor role.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Basic mathematical skills (adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the planning and assignment of work to maximize personnel and equipment efficiency.
• Maintain inventory and help establish inventory levels based on usage and demand.
• Receive shipments and enter information into tracking systems for disbursement.
• Inspect deliveries for accuracy and quality and reject undesired items.
• Supervise the warehouse and inventory to ensure security and upkeep.
• Assist in ordering from site vendors and liaise with management or vendors as needed.
• Develop and recommend improvements to warehouse practices to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Provide training for warehouse staff and assist with selecting employees.
• Uncrate shipments and manage disposal or storage of packaging materials.
