Job summary

Medline Industries, LP is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to manage the daily operation of the warehouse, oversee receipt, storage and shipment of materials, and directly supervise the warehouse staff.

The role emphasizes coaching, inventory accuracy, safety, and collaboration with customer service to resolve warehouse-related issues. A high school diploma is required, with an associate’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of supervisory experience coaching, mentoring and training staff.
  • At least 3 years warehouse experience.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Able to sit, walk, or stand for prolonged periods.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and oversee the daily operation of the warehouse including processing, packaging and storage of supplies, materials and equipment.
  • Oversee receipt, storage and shipment of materials and related reporting in accordance with established procedures.
  • Review effectiveness of operating procedures, maintenance, space utilization and protection of equipment.
  • Direct and supervise warehouse staff.
  • Audit goods received into warehouse.
  • Coach and mentor team members in productivity, quality, safety and Medline Core Values.
  • Ensure all routine paperwork is completed on time and are filled out accurately.
  • Assist the warehouse manager in maintaining a safe work environment for all team members.
  • Lead day-to-day activities of employees.
  • Assign, monitor and review progress and accuracy of work, directs efforts and provides technical guidance on more complex issues.
  • Provide input into hiring, firing and performance reviews.
  • Work with customer service to resolve warehouse related issues.

  • Ensure overtime is maintained within budget allotted.
  • Oversee receipt, storage and shipment of materials and related reporting in accordance with established procedures.
  • Ensure the accuracy of the inventory.
  • Account for all materials and supplies in the stores facilities.
  • Audit goods received into warehouse.
  • Coach and mentor team members in the areas of productivity, quality, safety and Medline Core Values.
  • Ensure all routine paperwork is completed on time and are filled out accurately.
  • Assist the warehouse manager in maintaining a safe work environment for all team members.

Education

Salary and Benefits

The anticipated salary range for this position: $67,000.00 - $101,000.00 Annual The actual salary will vary based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.

  • Our benefit package includes health insurance, life and disability, 401(k) contributions, paid time off, etc., for employees working 30 or more hours per week on average.
  • For roles where employees work less than 30 hours per week, benefits include 401(k) contributions, paid time off, as well as access to the Employee Assistance Program, Employee Resource Groups and the Employee Service Corp.
