Job summary

Medline Industries, LP in Temecula, CA seeks an experienced warehouse supervisor to manage daily operations, oversee material receipt, storage and shipment, and lead a team to maintain accuracy and efficiency.

You will coach staff, ensure safety, complete paperwork on time, and collaborate with customer service to resolve issues, while upholding Medline Core Values in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of supervisory experience coaching, mentoring and training staff.
• 3+ years warehouse experience in a distribution environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a dynamic warehouse setting.

• Administer and oversee daily warehouse operation including processing, packaging and storage of supplies, materials and equipment.
• Oversee receipt, storage and shipment of materials and related reporting, ensuring inventory accuracy.
• Account for all materials in stores facilities and audit goods received.
• Coach and mentor team members in productivity, quality, safety and Medline Core Values.
• Ensure routine paperwork is completed accurately and on time.
• Maintain a safe work environment and support for the warehouse manager.
• Lead day-to-day activities, monitor progress, provide guidance, and participate in hiring and performance reviews.
• Collaborate with customer service to resolve warehouse-related issues.

Job Description

• Administer and oversee the daily operation of the warehouse including processing, packaging and storage of supplies, materials and equipment. Ensure overtime is maintained within budget allotted.
• Oversee receipt, storage and shipment of materials and related reporting in accordance with established procedures. Ensure the accuracy of the inventory.
• Account for all materials and supplies in the stores facilities. Audit goods received into warehouse.
• Coach and mentor team members in the areas of productivity, quality, safety and Medline Core Values.
• Ensure all routine paperwork is completed on time and are filled out accurately.
• Assist the warehouse manager in maintaining a safe work environment for all team members.
• Lead day-to-day activities of employees. Assign, monitor and review progress and accuracy of work, directs efforts and provides technical guidance on more complex issues. Provide input into hiring, firing and performance reviews.
• Work with customer service to resolve warehouse related issues.

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent, Associate’s degree a plus.

Relevant Work Experience

• At least 3 years of supervisory experience coaching, mentoring and training staff.
• At least 3 years warehouse experience. Basic skill level.

• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Ability to sit, walk, or stand for prolonged periods of time

The Anticipated Salary Range For This Position

$67,000.00 - $101,000.00 Annual

The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
