Job summary

Kevin’s Natural Foods is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the warehouse team, ensure on-time shipments, and maintain accurate inventory. The role requires coordinating inbound/outbound activities, enforcing food-safety standards, and optimizing packing, receiving, and stock placement processes.

The ideal candidate will have prior warehouse supervision experience, forklift certification, and strong organization with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Proven work experience as a Warehouse Supervisor.
• Prior forklift experience, certification required; stand up forklift a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Flexibility concerning hours to accommodate a 24/7 operation.
• Awareness of warehouse and equipment safety procedures.
• Knowledge of company products and services.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the point-person for inbound/outbound shipments.
• Review inbound shipments for food safety; approve holds for QA review.
• Complete packing slips for outbound shipments.
• Recordkeeping for inbound shipments.
• Stage shipments for outbound deliveries and review paperwork.
• Put away inbound receiving orders following FIFO.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness.
• Verify lots and item numbers for shipments.
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and schedule maintenance.
• Collaborate with manager to plan delivery schedules.
• Collect and verify delivery instructions.
• Send end-of-shift report to Warehouse Manager.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

The Warehouse Supervisor will oversee the Warehouse department and all outbound products to be shipped daily, activity of shipping and receiving specialists, warehouse workers, and inventory, ensuring that all products are delivered to customers on time, all inventories is accounted for, and that supplies are replenished regularly. We are looking for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and will be hard working, punctual, dependable, self-motivated, self-managed, organized, and flexible. The ideal candidate will be efficient at self-managing as looking for a long-term commitment to grow within a growing company.

What You’ll Do:

• Serve as the point-person for all inbound and outbound shipments and transfers.
• Review inbound shipments for food safety requirements and serve as the final say before putting inbound shipments on hold for QA review.
• Complete packing slips for all outbound shipments.
• Complete all recordkeeping for inbound shipments.
• Stage all shipments for outbound deliveries and review paperwork.
• Put away all inbound receiving orders in correct placements following FIFO.
• Responsible for warehouse cleanliness.
• Verify all lot numbers and items numbers for all shipments.
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and schedule preventative maintenance.
• Work with manager to plan and meet delivery schedules.
• Collect and verify delivery instructions.
• Send daily end of shift report to Warehouse Manager.
• Performs other duties as assigned

What You’ll Need:

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Proven work experience as a Warehouse Supervisor.
• Prior forklift experience, certification required. Stand up forklift experience is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
• Flexibility concerning hours & shifts to accommodate a cyclical business with 24/7 operations.
• Possesses awareness of warehouse and equipment safety procedures.
• Possesses specific knowledge of the range of company products and services.
• Comfortable with technology (e.g. navigating a computer and iphone App).
• Possesses physical strength necessary to lift and move heavy boxes of supplies.
• Able to work in moderate to loud work environment
• Demonstrates solid problem-solving and analytical skills.

Salary Range: $72,000- $80,000 annually + benefits + bonus

Compensation within this salary range is dependent upon the candidate's experience, education, and relevant qualifications
