Job summary

FOX Factory, Inc. in Geismar, LA is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse and shipping activities, maintain inventory accuracy, and lead a small team.

You will supervise order fulfillment, receive goods from production, log inventory transactions, conduct cycle counts, and drive lean improvements to boost efficiency and accuracy across the department.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of warehouse experience.
• 2+ years of supervisory experience.
• Experience with lean methodologies is a plus.
• Forklift certification required or preferred.
• APICS/CPIM certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily warehouse and shipping areas, ensuring accurate shipments and documentation.
• Fill and ship customer orders; meet internal shipping requirements.
• Receive goods from production and package assemblies into finished goods.
• Maintain inventory records, log transactions and oversee cycle counts.
• Develop and maintain departmental work instructions; pursue lean improvements.

We look forward to hearing from you!Position Summary:Responsible for overseeing a wide variety of warehouse activities including shipping and receiving finished goods while maintaining inventory accuracy and associated records. People management responsibilities include hiring and training, planning and assigning daily work, conducting performance appraisals, addressing performance issues, and resolving problems.Position Responsibilities:Supervise and assist in daily warehouse and shipping areas including: Filling and shipping customer orders, satisfying internal shipping requirements, ensuring accuracy of shipments and supporting documentation, receiving goods/items from production, packaging assemblies and receiving into finished goods, ensuring inventory transactions are accurately logged and overseeing cycle counts and reconciliation activities.Measuring and reporting the effectiveness of the department activities.Developing and maintaining departmental work instructions for all tasks.Establishing or adjusting work procedures to meet warehouse demands as dictated by customer commitments, production schedules and work flow.Interpreting company policies to workers and enforcing safety regulations.Recommending measures to improve quality of service, increasing efficiency of department and work crew and equipment performance.Continuously improve warehouse operations through the use of lean enterprise practices.Conferring with other supervisors to coordinate activities of individual departments and serving internal customers.Specific Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required:Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.Ability to make calculations such as freight estimates, dimensional weight, invoices, and percentages.Knowledge of general business computer software and aptitude to learn new software applications.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).Position Qualifications:Education:Bachelor’s degree in relevant fieldExperience:3+ years of warehouse experience2+ years of supervisory experienceExperience with lean methodologiesForklift certificationAPICS/CPIM certification is a plusWork Environment and Physical Requirements:Manufacturing EnvironmentLift up to 50 lbs. regularlyRequires walking, standing, bending and lifting for long periods of timeVision abilities required to validate and enter data on computerDisclaimer : This list does not represent all physical demands.
