Job summary

Medline Industries, LP is seeking an experienced warehouse supervisor to manage daily operations, ensure accurate receiving, storage and shipping, and lead a team to meet safety and efficiency goals.

You will oversee staff, ensure paperwork is accurate, and partner with customer service to resolve issues while maintaining a safe workspace and controlling overtime within budget.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years supervisory experience coaching, mentoring and training staff.
• 3+ years warehouse experience with basic skill level.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations including processing, packaging and storage of supplies and equipment.
• Ensure receipt, storage, and shipment of materials with accurate reporting.
• Audit and account for all materials in stores facilities; ensure inventory accuracy.
• Coach and mentor team members in productivity, quality, safety and Medline Core Values.
• Ensure routine paperwork is completed accurately and on time.
• Maintain a safe work environment and assist warehouse manager as needed.
• Direct day-to-day activities, assign tasks, monitor progress and provide guidance; participate in hiring and performance reviews.
• Coordinate with customer service to resolve warehouse-related issues.

Job Summary

Responsible for the daily administration and operation of the warehouse. Oversee materials are received, stored, shipped and reported in accordance with established procedures. Direct and supervise warehouse staff. Review effectiveness of operating procedures, maintenance, space utilization and protection of equipment.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Administer and oversee the daily operation of the warehouse including processing, packaging and storage of supplies, materials and equipment. Ensure overtime is maintained within budget allotted.
• Oversee receipt, storage and shipment of materials and related reporting in accordance with established procedures. Ensure the accuracy of the inventory.
• Account for all materials and supplies in the stores facilities. Audit goods received into warehouse.
• Coach and mentor team members in the areas of productivity, quality, safety and Medline Core Values.
• Ensure all routine paperwork is completed on time and are filled out accurately.
• Assist the warehouse manager in maintaining a safe work environment for all team members.
• Lead day-to-day activities of employees. Assign, monitor and review progress and accuracy of work, directs efforts and provides technical guidance on more complex issues. Provide input into hiring, firing and performance reviews.
• Work with customer service to resolve warehouse related issues.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent, Associate’s degree a plus.

The anticipated salary range for this position:

$67,000.00 - $101,000.00 Annual

The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.

Our benefit package includes health insurance, life and disability, 401(k) contributions, paid time off, etc., for employees working 30 or more hours per week on average.
