Job summary

Gensco in Bend, Oregon is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee day-to-day warehousing, delivery, and customer service at the Bend branch. This full-time role operates Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, with a pay rate of $25.00 to $32.50 per hour.

You will recruit, train, and develop branch staff, enforce SOPs, manage costs, ensure safety, and communicate effectively with customers. The ideal candidate has strong leadership, multi-tasking ability, and a solid knowledge of our

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• AA degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years related experience preferred.
• Prior customer service experience desired.
• Excellent knowledge of Gensco products.
• Understanding of inside/outside sales, warehouse and delivery functions.
• Proactive, self-motivated with issue resolution.
• Strong decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

Job Description

Gensco has an immediate opening for a Warehouse Supervisor at our branch in Bend, Oregon!

Duties & Responsibilities

• Responsible for supervising the day-to-day warehousing, delivery, and customer service functions of the Branch Warehouse
• Responsible for Team building, implementing continuous education processes for all Branch Team Members, establishing objective and measurable goals, and clearly communicating these goals and standards to Branch Team
• Recruit, hire, and train Team Members meeting Company standards.
• Maintain a positive, helpful attitude toward fellow Team Members and Customers
• Comply with Company Standard Operating Procedures and maintain safe work practices and security
• Suggest and implement improvements in warehouse cost management, best practices, and operational process design and implementation

Education/Experience/Skills

• High school diploma or GED required
• AA degree preferred or equivalent work experience preferred
• 2+ years related experience with Gensco or equivalent preferred
• Prior direct customer service experience - desire to work directly with Customers
• Excellent knowledge of the products Gensco sells
• Understanding of Inside Sales, Outside Sales, Warehouse, and Delivery functions
• Proactive, self-motivated, able to recognize issues and resolve or lift appropriately
• Strong decision-making abilities - understanding the impact and implications of decisions
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong people management and time management skills
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated ability to organize people and resources to get the job done
• Able to operate computer terminal, personal computer, and office machines
