Qualifications

• 2-5 years’ experience in a leadership role within a Warehouse Department or related area.
• ERP(SAP) experience is desirable.
• Experience with just in time manufacturing preferred.
• High School Diploma – College Degree Preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for warehouse personnel: shift scheduling, motivation, training and evaluations.
• Oversee inventory management, start meetings and housekeeping, resolve shipping errors.
• Promote safety and drive safe work habits; assist with investigations as needed.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and GMP practices and coordinate with production/service teams.
• Maintain customer satisfaction through accurate loads and on-time delivery.
• Communicate with manager and staff to ensure timely, error-minimized warehouse operations.
• Help train and integrate new employees; supervise daily goals and schedules.
• Process weekly payroll and manage overtime as needed.

Job Summary:

The Warehouse Supervisor is a hands-on position. This position is expected to lead by example and is responsible for all aspects of the warehouse operation. The Warehouse Supervisor must be familiar with all positions in the warehouse to help out when necessary to ensure that the shift runs smoothly and all work is completed efficiently and on time.

Work Schedule: 5:00pm to 5:30am (Rotating 2-2-3 Schedule)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide all aspects of leadership for warehouse Personnel responsibilities include, but are not limited to: shift scheduling, maintaining employee motivation and morale, training, conflict resolution, performance evaluations, attendance monitoring and disciplinary action where appropriate.
• Operational responsibilities include, but are not limited to: inventory management, shift start meetings, warehouse housekeeping, research/resolve shipping errors and implement corrective actions.
• Lead the team in all aspects of promoting the Company safety program immediately identifying and eliminating risks to drive safe working habits and behaviors.
• Assist with accident investigations as needed
• Ensure full compliance with all OSHA regulations and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s).
• Work jointly with production, customer service, and distribution to ensure external customer order fulfillment requirements are met accurately and on time.
• Maintain solid customer satisfaction levels relating to quality, accuracy of loads and on-time delivery, while ensuring the highest level of operational efficiencies.
• Maintain an open dialogue and communicate effectively with Manager, shift lead person, and employees to ensure that work in warehouse is completed efficiently, on time, and with a minimum of errors.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma – College Degree Preferred
• 2-5 years’ experience in a leadership role within a Warehouse Department or related area
• ERP(SAP) experience is desirable
• Experience with “just in time” manufacturing preferred
• Basic computer skills essential
• Basic math skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and to positively coach and motivate others
• Ability to work independently and cross functionally, and to positively coach and motivate
• Must have a strong working knowledge of the warehouse operation and the ability to receive direction and organize work and staffing schedules

The pay range for this position is $86,000 — $91,000 USD
