Job summary

Harvey Norman Port Stephens is looking for a Stockhand to join the warehouse team on a 6‑month full‑time contract. You will handle dispatches and receipts, assist customers, and support efficient warehouse operations with a focus on accuracy and service quality.

You will work closely with a team, maintain safety standards, and adapt to retail hours including weekends. forklift and driving licences are preferred. Port Stephens location offers career progression within a strong national brand.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written.
• Be highly organised and possess great time management skills.
• Must be motivated and have a great eye for detail.
• Experience checking delivery sheets preferred.
• Effective, timely and accurate distribution of goods in and out of our warehouse, including loading of trucks.
• A strong commitment to WH&S policies and procedures.
• Enthusiasm and willingness to learn with a "can do" attitude.
• Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
• Flexibility across retail trading hours including weekends, public holidays and late night trades.
• Current Forklift, Drivers and Pickers Licence (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Distribute goods in and out of the warehouse and load trucks.
• Check delivery sheets and ensure accurate receipt and dispatch.
• Provide exceptional customer service at the warehouse.
• Liaise with customers and colleagues to ensure smooth operations.
• Adhere to WH&S policies and procedures.
• Be flexible with trading hours including weekends and holidays.

The Harvey Norman Port Stephens Warehouse Team is seeking a passionate, customer service focused Stockhand to join them in delivering Great Service, Always! to their customers.

As a Stockhand, you have a good understanding of the dispatching and receiving of orders, and liaising with customers providing exceptional customer service.
