Job summary

Foundation Building Materials (FBM) seeks a Stocker to support loading/unloading, material handling, and inventory in our Michigan warehouse. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

You'll verify loads, assist in inventories, and maintain a clean, safe workspace while adhering to DOT and OSHA standards. Strong communication and a willingness to learn about building materials are highly valued for success.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• General knowledge of building materials and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Delivery & material handling to loading docks and trucks.
• Verify trucks are loaded and secured per DOT standards.
• Unload, protect, move and stage materials as directed by customers.
• Assist with inventory and participate in monthly/annual inventories as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
• Follow OSHA safety requirements and proper lifting techniques.
• Wear required PPE (safety shoes, clothing).
• Frequently operate equipment or drive a forklift for long periods.
• Assist in pushing/pulling carts and loading materials up to ~100 pounds.
