Job summary

Foundation Building Materials in Ohio is seeking a Stocker to support loading, unloading, and staging materials with safety and speed. You will verify shipments, assist with inventory, and keep a clean, organized warehouse to meet daily demands.

This full-time role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and reliability as you handle building materials and work with forklift equipment, following DOT and OSHA guidelines while maintaining quality service for internal teams and customers.

• General knowledge of building materials and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Delivery & Material Handling: Verify trucks are loaded and secured in accordance with DOT standards; unload, protect, move, and stage materials as directed.
• Inventory: Participate in monthly and/or annual physical inventories when required.
• Safety: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse; follow OSHA requirements; wear PPE and use proper lifting techniques.
• Physical Requirements: Frequent use of hands, driving or sitting in trucks or forklifts; lift or carry up to ~100 pounds; team participation may be required.
• Miscellaneous: Support Safety, Customer Focus, Teamwork, Integrity and other duties as assigned.
