Job summary

Sodexo at Concordia University Wisconsin in Mequon is seeking a Stock Worker and Receiver to support campus warehouse operations, including receiving merchandise, unloading or unpacking goods, labeling items, stocking shelves, and assisting customers with order placement. This role combines administrative tasks with hands-on logistics, requiring accuracy and teamwork.

The job is full-time with weekday morning shifts and a pay rate of $20 per hour.

Qualifications

• 0–1 year of warehouse or stock experience.
• May require a valid driver's license.
• May require forklift operation certification.

Responsibilities

• Verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Receive, lift, move, store, issue, count, sort, weigh, and verify items.
• Receive and process a wide variety of incoming freight daily.
• Compare shipments to bills of lading and invoices.
• Determine method of shipment and coordinate delivery.
• Communicate with vendors and internal teams to schedule deliveries.
• Unpack and inspect incoming shipments; handle damaged items.
• Fill orders and rotate stock to ensure freshness.
• Resolve delivery problems using a computerized system.
• Significant walking or mobility; stand for extended periods.
• Lift up to 50 pounds; occasionally more.
• Attend scheduled shifts on time; perform other duties as assigned.
