WORK SCHEDULE
The schedule will be 10-hour shifts Friday - Monday (40 hours)
POSITION SUMMARY
The Warehouse Staff member is responsible for processing warehouse requisitions and purchase requisition orders. They are also responsible for all receiving, shipping & inventory control for the entire property. The Warehouse Staff member is a part of the Purchasing Team and will report directly to the Purchasing Manager.
GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

- Verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments. Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records
- Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper, purchasing department and Finance to rectify damages and shortages. Routes and delivers items to departments and or appropriate storage locations in a timely and efficient fashion
- Operates tier-lift truck, fork lift or use hand truck to move, convey, or hoist shipments from shipping-and-receiving platform to storage or work area. May direct others in preparing outgoing and receiving incoming shipments
- Assigns bar codes/item numbers/date stickers to all merchandise received
- Responsible for processing merchandise receipts, requisitions, and transfers in Eatec
- Responsible for the maintenance and filing of documentation supporting Shipping and Receiving transactions
- Assists in preparing & filling orders for distribution as needed
- Adheres to warehouse standard operating procedure manual for warehouse department
- Monitors inventory levels to achieve appropriate stock levels and ordering schedules by using RedRock MMS.
- Takes part in daily, cycle, and month end inventory.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

- The Team Member is occasionally required to lift, push, pull and carry up to 150 pounds.
- The Team Member is regularly required to lift, push, pull and carry up to 75 pounds.
- The Team Member is frequently required to lift, push pull and carry 10-50 pounds.
- The Employee is regularly required to stand and walk for long periods of time.
- Must have ability to climb ladders and maintain balance.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

- Capable of working in an office or warehouse environment but duties may require working in all casino facilities, especially the Cage, Slots, and gaming areas, where the position may experience moderate noise and secondary smoke as well as inclement weather with hot or cold temperatures.
- Capable of communicating and delivering items throughout the Casino and offices.
- Capable of working for extended periods of time at a work station, performing tasks on computer and working with documents.
- Willing and able to work in an environment to which the employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts, loud noise levels, high precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme temperature changes and outside weather changes
GENERAL CONDITIONS
- Must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older.
- Must be able to move around all work areas effectively and efficiently.
- Must have ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or graphic form.
- Must be able to deal with problems involving several concrete variables.
- Have ability to work periodically under conditions of extreme urgency (creating higher levels of job stress).
- Must have ability to work more than 45 hours per week (if needed) which includes weekends and holidays.
- Basic math skills required, including ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent, and to convert units.
- Must uphold a high standard of confidentiality and integrity and the Purchasing Department is exposed to confidential information and deals with sensitive items and issues.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- High School diploma or GED required or currently enrolled and successfully complete a GED program within 6 months from start date as a condition of continued employment
- Some college education preferred
- Must complete forklift certification within 60 days from hire date
- Must have and maintain valid state-issued driver's license
- One (1) year warehouse/receiving experience
- Knowledge of receiving and storage functions
- Experience with computerized inventory/purchasing systems. (RedRock or Stratton Warren preferred)
- Ability to use all equipment associated with the position including manual and powered pallet jack, fork lift, hand truck, cart, and electronic scale
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast pace environment while observing all safety rules and standards
- Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and carry out work duties with moderate supervision
- Willing to work odd and irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Willing to travel and participate in training as recommended or required
REGULATORY AND COMPLIANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
In addition to the other duties described herein, each employee has the following responsibilities related to compliance with laws and regulations:
- Employment is contingent on receiving and maintaining adequate licensing, including any required gaming license through the Spokane Tribal Gaming Commission;
- Attend required training sessions offered by the Spokane Tribe Casino;
- Perform the duties described in compliance with local laws and regulations;
- Have knowledge of the ordinances, regulations, laws, policies, and procedures relating to the Casino;
- Take the necessary steps to ensure minors are not encouraged or permitted to gamble or loiter in gambling areas, drink alcoholic beverages, or purchase tobacco products;
- Refer to the Internal Control System and Policy Manuals for guidance;
- Take the appropriate steps to report exceptions, fraud, acts of wrongdoing, and potential violations of regulations or internal controls to the appropriate levels of management;
- Uphold high standards of ethical behavior, demonstrate an understanding of the impacts of problem gambling, and have knowledge of the Casino's programs to address problem gambling.
