Job summary

CB&I is seeking a Shop Warehouseman in Houston to support projects through efficient shipping and receiving, inventory control, and warehouse operations. The role emphasizes safety, accurate record-keeping, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace.

The ideal candidate will handle materials safely, follow procedures, and contribute to on-site logistics, including lifting and moving items with basic equipment and hand tools, while complying with project rules and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent, valid driver’s license with driving record within company established parameters.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screen.
• Ability to work in an outdoor environment.
• 0-2 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Receives, stores, issues material and supplies to project sites.
• Loads and unloads supplies, places incoming items on shelves, may climb ladders.
• Reads work order or follows instructions to move materials.
• Opens containers with hand tools such as cutters and crowbars.
• Loads/unloads materials onto/from pallets, racks, or shelves.
