At Batesville Casket Company, we are seeking a warehouse associate to ensure safe handling of shipments, accurate inventory control, and adherence to safety procedures.

You will unload inbound, load outbound, maintain a clean work area, and operate powered equipment while meeting quality standards and deadlines. A high school diploma or GED is required; forklift experience is preferred; valid driver’s license is beneficial.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Ability to drive a truck within facility confines and learn to spot trailers.
• Dependable, honest, quick learner, good communication skills and team player.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including any days, shift, and weekends.
• Able to lift/move up to 50 pounds frequently and over 100 pounds occasionally.

Responsabilités

• Inspect each unit for quality.
• Unload inbound and load outbound caskets quickly, accurately, safely, and damage-free.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area.
• Perform various warehouse duties as requested.
• Operate powered equipment efficiently and safely.
• Other duties may be assigned.
