Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Jeffersonville, IN is hiring a Permanent Full Time Warehouse Associate to package, pick and ship orders in a fast-paced distribution center.

You will operate powered industrial trucks, load and unload trailers, and ensure scanning accuracy while maintaining safety and housekeeping. Overtime may be required in peak periods, and the role offers weekly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months of related warehouse experience required.
• One year or more related warehouse experience preferred.
• Learn to operate powered industrial trucks (stand-up/sit-down forklifts, pallet jacks) and maintain batteries.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to input data into the WMS computer system.

Responsibilities

• Package, kit and assemble orders and materials.
• Load and unload inbound/outbound trailers with proper scanning.
• Train dock employees on new procedures and maintain security and housekeeping.
• Perform picking and packing duties and ensure accuracy.
• Contribute to team-based operations and continuous improvements.
