Job summary

MSC Industrial Supply Co. in Atlanta is seeking a Stock Handler to support our fast-moving Customer Fulfillment Center. You will perform a mix of manual and mechanical tasks to move a wide range of raw materials to bins, racks, and staging areas.

You’ll load and unload products, verify items, operate basic and advanced powered equipment, and maintain safety and productivity standards. Overtime may be required; DOT item certifications and internal equipment certifications may be needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Willingness to work overtime to meet customer needs.
• Internal certification to drive powered equipment within specified time.
• Internal certification to pick DOT-regulated items, if required.
• Standing, walking, lifting up to 75 pounds; physical ability to perform essential functions.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and move product by hand, by skid, or by cart.
• Put away product to bins and racks.
• Verify products using item numbers and descriptions; inspect for damage.
• Scan labels into warehouse system.
• Stage product for put-away bins or racks.
• Operate basic and advanced powered equipment.
• Train cross-functionally to support business needs.
• Follow safety guidelines and meet productivity/quality expectations.
