Job summary

PDM Steel in Sparks, NV is seeking a warehouse associate to support receiving, storing, processing, packaging, and distribution of steel products. This hands-on role requires accuracy, reliability, and teamwork.

You will handle material with hand and power tools, operate equipment safely, perform daily inspections on cranes and forklifts, and help maintain inventory records and packaging as directed. Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand or walk for long periods, and follow all

1 year of warehouseman experience or equivalent.
Ability to read and interpret work orders and instructions.
Knowledge of safety rules related to material handling.

Responsibilities

Receive, store, and distribute material, tools, and equipment.
Move and package material per work orders.
Gather material by hand, machine, forklift, or crane and strap for shipment.
Label material and spray paint as required.
Maintain clean work area and perform daily safety inspections on cranes and forklifts.
Stage rail cars for unloading and removal.
Perform additional tasks assigned by Supervisor/Manager.
