Job summary

Plumbers Supply Co. seeks a warehouse associate at our Downtown Louisville Market Street branch. You will accurately pick orders, read customer orders, and retrieve items from racks using barcodes.

You will also update ERP inventory after each pick while maintaining a clean, safe warehouse environment. Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of warehouse experience, strong customer service, and reliability. Expect physical tasks, standing/walking throughout shifts, and use of hand trucks, pallet

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of warehouse experience.
• Customer service focus with strong communication skills.
• Dependable attendance and reliability.
• Ability to multitask and pay attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Motivated to learn and grow within the role.
• Stamina to stand and walk throughout the shift.
• Computer proficiency.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally more with or without accommodation.
• Physical ability to perform various warehouse tasks including bending, stooping, kneeling, etc.
• Comfortable working in a non-climate controlled warehouse environment.
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check required.

Responsibilities

• Reading customer orders and retrieving items from warehouse racks using barcodes and serial numbers.
• Updating inventory in ERP system after each item is picked.
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment for all stakeholders.
• Operating heavy equipment including hand trucks, pallet jacks,forklifts, etc.
