Responsibilities

• Loads, unloads, and moves materials within plant, yard, or work site.
• Loads/unloads onto/from trucks, pallets, racks, using hand tools, forklift, or pallet jack.
• Reads work orders or follows instructions to identify materials to move.
• Loads materials into vehicles to prevent shifting in transit.
• Conveys materials from storage to designated loading area.
• Counts and records units moved, breakage and spoilage.
• Attaches tags or labels to materials and marks cases.
• Stacks materials into bundles and wraps bundles.
• Performs housekeeping and grounds maintenance of warehouse and offices.
• Wears provided uniform and safety equipment.
• Other duties may be assigned by supervisor.
