Job summary

Fairfax Water is seeking a diligent Warehouse Assistant in Willard, OH, to support receipt, inspection, storage, and distribution of supplies and equipment. You will pick, issue, and move materials for maintenance crews, load/unload trucks, and maintain accurate records in SAP.

Responsibilities include verifying orders, stocking stock neatly, and participating in annual inventory. Overtime and after-hours work may be required; forklift certification is required within 12 months.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with at least 1 year of warehouse experience.
• Must pass a controlled substance test.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate warehouse equipment.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, store and distribute supplies, materials and equipment.
• Pick and issue materials to maintenance and construction crews.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Unpack and stock materials and supplies.
• Verify quality and accuracy of orders against packing lists.
• Maintain neat, orderly stock; participate in annual inventory.
• Provide counter service to customers and custodial maintenance.
• Work overtime and during extreme weather as required.
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment; forklift certification within 12 months.
• May work at alternate facilities as needs dictate.
