Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Experience in physical labor in a production environment preferred.
• Ability to follow directions, work in a team, and adapt to various roles.
• Ability to handle materials and equipment responsibly.
• Learn company products and terminology quickly.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service and time management skills.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

• Determine work assignments and material/equipment needs from work orders or instructions.
• Package, label, and stack finished orders on skids for shipment.
• Maintain stock inventories for warehouse as needed.
• Move heavy materials using forklift, pallet jack, and hand truck.
• Perform unskilled production work on the assembly line.
• Keep workstation clean and organized throughout the day.
• Load and unload trucks as required.
• Ensure machines and equipment operate safely and efficiently.
• Assist shipping with labeling and packaging procedures.
• Monitor product quality and report issues promptly.
• May stand in as a backup for Line Leads when needed.
• Follow safety policies and company procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
