Job summary

Travis Association for the Blind/Austin Lighthouse (TAB) seeks a Warehouse Specialist to manage warehousing duties, verify materials with receiving documents, and move goods safely within the facility. The role involves counting stock, labeling, packing, and preparing items for shipment in a fast-paced non-profit warehouse environment.

Ideal candidates will have experience with RF scanning, basic computer use, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehousing or receiving environments.
• Knowledge of storage methods and inventory control processes.
• Ability to operate RF scanning equipment and basic computer systems.
• Basic math skills and attention to accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Verify materials against receiving documents and report discrepancies.
• Count and verify incoming stock for accuracy.
• Pack and prepare products for shipment following specifications.
• Fold and package products as required by SOPs.
• Operate hand or power trucks for moving goods within the warehouse.
• Maintain safe and clean work environment and follow TAB policies.
