Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of manufacturing warehouse experience.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Leadership experience in a warehouse (1–2 years).
  • Forklift certification (stand-up and/or seated).
  • Experience with Kanban, JIT, FIFO.
  • Proficient in using warehouse management systems.

Responsibilities

  • Manage material flow to support production output; pick and pack items promptly.
  • Put away materials from internal and external sources.
  • Develop and maintain quality systems; promote high-volume part access; Kanban experience.
  • Coordinate part availability and job priority across teams.
  • Escalate issues to Warehouse manager; propose sustainable improvements.
  • Use WMS to track inventory, enter job orders, and optimize storage.
  • Operate reach trucks, forklifts, and move products to trailers.
  • Maintain organized records and perform inventory checks.
  • Help train cross-functional staff.

Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Warehouse specialist III to join our team in the material handling or receiving departments. This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate storage, picking, and issuing of all materials used in our manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing warehouse environment and possess the skills necessary to operate various types of equipment, manage inventory, address customer demand and promote continuous improvement to meet internal and external standards and KPIs.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the flow of materials to ensure a consistent level of output for our production areas. Conduct Job picking and packing of products in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Accurately put away all materials made available to the material handling team from both internal and external sources.
  • Create and maintain quality systems to provide easy access for the production teams of high-volume parts. Must have experience with Kanban systems.
  • Manage the information flow with multiple production teams regarding part availability and job priority.
  • Escalate issues with part flow to the Warehouse manager and production control. Offer solutions for sustainable improvement.
  • Work interdepartmentally to uncover root cause issues and address them with staff. Escalate issues that are not easily resolved to the Warehouse manager.
  • Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory levels, perform job order entries, monitor order fulfillment, and optimize storage space.
  • Operate reach trucks, forklifts, and other equipment to move products throughout the warehouse and onto trailers.
  • Keep all physical records organized for easy reference.
  • Perform basic math calculations to verify inventory levels.
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to safety protocols and best practices.
  • Participate in inventory management and control processes to minimize stockouts and overstocking.
  • Learn, update and optimize SOPs.
  • Perform other duties as required to ensure the smooth operation of the warehouse with the ability to train cross functionally to assist other departments.
Experience

Applicants should have prior experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment and have a solid understanding of warehouse operations. Experience with order fulfillment and the use of warehouse management systems is required (Kanban, JIT, FIFO). Additionally, proficiency in operating pallet jacks, stand-up lifts, and other heavy machinery is necessary. Additionally, knowledge of good manufacturing principles and practices to meet quality standards for services is expected along with attention to detail focusing on part number verification and transaction integrity.

Required Education and Experience
  • High school graduate/GED
  • 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing warehouse environment.
Preferred Education and Experience
  • 1-2 years of leadership in a warehouse environment
  • Prior certification on either standup and seated forklifts
Schedule & Compensation
  • Monday-Thursday 6:00 am – 3:30 pm, Friday 6:00 am – 10:00 am
  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Expected hours: 40 per week
  • Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
