Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is hiring a Warehouse Selector in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. You will select products, load trucks, and move inventory between the dock and warehouse while complying with safety protocols and quality checks.

The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, operating reach trucks and pallet jacks, and reading and following written work instructions. We offer weekend/shift options and a comprehensive benefits package after eligibility.

Qualifications

At least 18 years of age.
Able to perform accurate visual inspections and repeatedly lift to 50 pounds or more.
At least 1 year of distribution warehouse experience, including operation of reach truck, pallet jack, and forklift is preferred, but not required.
This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely.

Responsibilities

Select product and load trucks, moving product between the loading dock and the warehouse and moving product within the warehouse.
May work in various areas of the warehouse such as Dry, Refrigerated, Perishables, Freezer, and others.
McLane provides freezer suits, hats, and gloves to you.
Review documents and record information; verify quantity, identity, availability, and condition of product.
Drive and operate a reach truck and pallet jack to select, pull, sort, and stack product within the warehouse and dock.
Hand-stack product on occasion when items are off balance or in the wrong location.
Shrink-wrap and label outgoing orders and remove shrink wrap from incoming orders.
Clean work area.
Other duties as assigned.

Pay rate: $24.00 per hour.
Schedule: Sunday - Thursday: 11:00am - 7:30pm or Sunday - Thursday: 9:00am - 5:30pm.
