Manual material handling and use of carts will be required to move items efficiently. Candidate must read and write English, follow safety protocols, and operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and scanners.

Qualifications

• Ability to walk, stand, kneel, squat, stoop, and bend for extended periods.
• Capable of lifting and carrying up to 100 lbs without assistance.
• Proficient reading and writing English.
• Experience with loading, operating, and moving hand carts, pallet jacks, and other material handling aids.

Responsibilities

• Process orders and handle boxes of files, books, binders, backup tapes, and other materials.
• Lift, carry, and arrange boxes while standing, stooping, crawling, kneeling, and twisting.
• Operate hand trucks and pallet jacks safely on varied surfaces.
• Use a proprietary system to track orders and locate boxes.
• Operate handheld scanners.
• Climb and balance on ladders.
• Load and shrink-wrap pallets at ground level or on carts.
• Load boxes onto pallets and pallets onto trucks manually and with aids.
