Job summary

Key responsibilities include operating hand trucks and walkies, assisting in inventory counts, and supporting housekeeping to keep a clean, organized distribution area.

Qualifications

• Must have basic math skills to add, subtract, and multiply accurately.
• Must be able to read and interpret safety rules, packing slips, and operating instructions.
• Must maintain good working relationships with coworkers.
• Must apply knowledge to written or verbal instructions and diagrams.
• Demonstrate conduct aligned with organizational values and honesty.

Responsibilities

• Safely performs assigned warehouse functions using established processes and tools, meeting safety, quality, productivity, and attendance targets.
• Functions may include loading, unloading, put-away, picking, packing, replenishing, receiving, auditing, shipping, counting, box-making, etc.
• Operates hand truck, cart, dollies, and walkie to move items within the warehouse or to shipment pickup locations.
• Performs housekeeping duties to maintain a safe, clean, organized work environment.
• Informs Manager or Lead of problems and participates in process improvements.
• Assists in other areas of the Distribution Center as assigned.
