Job summary

Y. Hata & Co., Limited is hiring for a warehouse associate in Hawaiʻi. Starting pay ranges from $17 to $20 per hour with a schedule of Monday to Wednesday, Friday & Saturday, 7:00am to 3:30pm. The role includes unloading freight, palletizing items, and moving pallets within the warehouse.

Ideal candidates have six months to one year of warehouse or distribution experience. The company emphasizes a values-driven culture and opportunities for growth within a long-standing Hawaiʻi business.

Qualifications

Six months to one year experience of distribution or warehouse experience.

Responsibilities

Unloads containers of incoming freight and palletizes items for placement into warehouse.
Uses manual pallet jack to move pallets to receiving dock.
Builds pallets according to company standards.
Sorts products and groups like items together, by product number or description of cases.
Removes packing materials and cleans out empty containers.
Ensures all products are free from damage and/or pest infestation.
Follows established safety standards for proper food handling.
Responsible for general housekeeping in the warehouse.
Performs similar and related duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
