Job summary

Vital Records Control (VRC) in Anchorage, AK is seeking a Warehouse/Delivery Associate. You will barcode, process, and refile boxes, handle pickups and deliveries, and maintain equipment safely.

You must operate a picker forklift and related devices, perform daily safety checks, and keep the warehouse organized and secure. Responsibilities include barcode processing, destruction scheduling, bay consolidations, and occasional vehicle maintenance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma minimum.
• Valid driver’s license with clean MVR and clean background check.
• Problem solving skills to solve process problems.
• Physically able to perform labor intensive tasks daily (40–50 lb lifts).
• Good eye/hand coordination and motor skills.
• Work well under time constraints and productivity requirements.
• Willing to follow procedures and offer improvements.
• Able to perform tasks at heights (12–14 ft).
• Ability to use handheld computer, electric pickers, drive van and bob truck.
• Flexible hours and overtime willingness.
• Strong customer service background.
• Detail oriented work style.
• Dependable and mature with equipment safety.

Responsibilities

• Barcode and process new boxes.
• Pull access list.
• Refile boxes/files.
• Barcode and process boxes scheduled for destruction.
• Perform bay consolidations.
• Operate picker forklift or other equipment.
• Run safety checks before signing out equipment.
• Move boxes to assigned areas safely.
• Warehouse maintenance and cleaning.
• Make pickups and deliveries.
• Vehicle maintenance tasks.
• Return equipment to charging stations daily.
