Mygrant Glass in Tulsa is seeking a Glass Handling Specialist to join our Warehouse & Operations team. This hands-on role moves glass products, uses RFID to pick orders, and supports timely customer deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Inspect shipments for damages or shortages; document/discrepancies.
• Verify vendor part numbers and stock numbers for all incoming products.
• Prepare receiving reports and report discrepancies to supervision.
• Store products in proper bin locations and determine locations.
• Operate forklifts and hand trucks safely according to procedures.
• Maintain safety certifications and equipment maintenance reporting.
• Assist in maintaining branch appearance and cleanliness.

Glass Handling Specialists operate material handling equipment to select, stock, and organize inventory, as well as manually handle glass products to stage for delivery. Reports to: Branch Manager

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Select incoming pick tickets according using RFID technology to accurately fulfill customer orders.
• Prepares, packs, and scans (asappropriate), and stages products for transfer and customer pick-up and deliveryin accordance withestablished standards.
• Quickly and accurately receive, process and store incoming auto glass product shipments.
• Ensures shipments are inspected and damages or shortages are documented and recorded. Initiates freight claim procedure when necessary.
• Checks incoming delivery contents against packing list to verifyaccurateand full delivery.
• Verifies vendor part number and MGC stock number for all incoming products.
• Prepares receiving reports and notes any shortages,damagesor overages. Promptly reports any discrepancies to supervisors.
• Stores incoming products in proper location according to bin number or product sequence.
• Determinesproper bin number and/or location of incoming products.
• Verifies actual counts of stock against CORE inventory. Investigates and reports discrepancies.
• Operates hand trucks, pallet jacks, forklifts, order pickers, and OR other equipment safely andin accordance withorganizational procedures.
• Monitors equipment and promptly reports any safety or maintenance concerns to supervisors
• Maintains required hazardous materials, forklift, and other internal and external certifications
• Break down boxes, stock accessories and organize inventory as directed
• Adhere to health & safety policies and quality standards.
• Assist in maintaining appearance of branch as needed. Clean warehouse, counter area, etc.

OTHER DUTIES:

• Aid in prepping, inspecting,labelingand loadingsafelymaintain KPI objectivesand limit breakage.
• Loads delivery vehicles andassistscustomers with will call pickups.
• Drive company vehicles for customer deliveries, transfers or assigned maintenance
• Processes customer returns. Ensures returns are insellablecondition per company policy.
• Verifies that warranty paperwork has been properly and neatly filled out. Initiates warranty return process, and stages product in warranty area.
• Processes documentation necessary to ship transfers and customer orders, including bills of lading, packing lists, small parcel manifests and other necessary documents.
• Performs cycle counting on assigned items to keepaccurateinventory records.
• Perform other job tasks as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience in a warehouse environment
• Familiar with modern warehouse software with basic computer skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills

• A beginner’s mindset that is coachable and open to feedback

EDUCATION AND LICENSING REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Valid driver’s licensepreferred
• CMV DOT Medical Card preferred
• Pass and maintain Forklift certification
• 2+ years warehouse or equivalent experience

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

This position requires close visual acuity to perform activities such as: viewing a computer terminal/mobile device; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts; Ability to perceive the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels, and making fine discriminations in sound; Exerting up to 75 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Must have finger grip strength to properly handle glass. Must be able to remain in a stationary position and/or upright, for prolonged periods of time, traverse stairs, maneuver in tight spaces, reach overhead, squat, bend, kneel, stoop, and crouch occasionally during 8-10-hour work shift.

BASE PAY :

The listed range is what we reasonably expect to pay for this opportunity at the time of this posting. Actual compensation is based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the individual’s experience, education, certifications, knowledge, skills and geography/ work location, and may ultimately be more or less than the posted range. Base pay does not include other forms of compensation, such as our offered benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, FSA and 401k plan, holiday, sick and vacation days.
